We attended the national conference of Licensed Insolvency Professionals on the weekend and listened to the best selling author of “The Wealthy Barber”, David Chilton speak. He had an enlightening view on credit. He feels that banks and lending institutions are like drug pushers. They don’t care what is in your best interest, only what is in theirs, pushing more and more and more credit on you. That would be like a grocery store telling you, you have enough groceries and you don’t need to come buy more. THAT”S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Until you are tapped out and can’t qualify for more credit, they will push more and more credit on you until you break, just like a drug pusher. Cold turkey doesn’t have to be the answer but maybe talking to someone for advice who isn’t pushing credit on you is maybe a better solution. Are you being pushed?
