Nicole, how long have you been with the BNA team?
Two years.
And, how long have you been working in insolvency?
Five years, but I've been a credit counsellor for 12.
What is the best thing about your job?
I genuinely like to help clients resolve their financial difficulties by providing relief from the overwhelming burden of debt. We can help you create a fair and equitable repayment for the creditors and play an impartial role in ensuring your and your creditor's rights.
What do you like about working in insolvency?
It's a great field if you like solving problems and finding solutions to an issue that is often not discussed publicly. Working in insolvency entails looking at the human aspect first and then their financial framework.
I feel that many other organizations forget the VERY aspect of their shared connection - that at the end of the day, we are all humans and assisting other humans during difficult times. We act as a source of light in a dark place.
What is the one thing that you would tell anyone worried about coming in to start a file?
